After David Gilmour released his number one album “Rattle That Lock” two years ago, he naturally brought his new songs to the international stages.
In the process, the Pink Floyd singer and guitarist played two concerts last year in the famous Pompeii Amphitheater at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. With “Live At Pompeii” in 2017, the highlights of these two brilliant shows are available as a live album and concert film, offering both an impressive sonic and visual experience.
In addition to songs from his more recent albums, “Live At Pompeii” also includes some solo and Pink Floyd classics. Included are “Wish You Were Here,” “Money,” “Comfortably Numb” and many more. The full track listing can be found below.
“Live At Pompeii” is available both as a double CD incl. 24-page booklet, as a double DVD or Blu-ray and as a 4-LPs set with two gatefold covers and 24-page booklet in LP format. An absolute highlight is also the two-part deluxe box with double CD and double Blu-ray with additional live performances (South America 2015 / Wroclaw 2016), tour documentaries (Europe 2015, South America 2015, North America 2016, Europe 2016) and the 72-minute BBC documentary “David Gilmour: Wider Horizons”. The deluxe box also includes a hardcover book, a photo booklet, a Pompeii guide, four postcards and a poster.
