DIRECTOR & Cast: Il cattivo tenente (Bad Lieutenant) è un film neo-noir del 1992 diretto da Abel Ferrara, presentato nella sezione Un Certain Regard al Festival di Cannes 1992.[1] In italiano esistono due versioni, una integrale disponibile solo in home video e un’altra tagliata. Nel 2009 il regista tedesco Werner Herzog realizzò una sorta di remake (stesso personaggio ma storia un po’ diversa) con Nicolas Cage dal titolo Il cattivo tenente – Ultima chiamata New Orleans.
