When they could not obtain the rights to the name Yes, the four band members released their album under their collective names: Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe.
This was the self-titled debut album of the newly formed classic Yes lineup, consisting of Jon Anderson, Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe. It was also the only studio album they released under that name, as they later reunited as Yes. It features guest appearances by current Yes keyboardist Geoff Downes, GTR lead singer Max Bacon, producer Rhett Lawrence and Oscar-winning producer Vangelis, among others. “Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe” is available in a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on Translucent Blue Vinyl and includes an 8-page booklet with song lyrics.
